Catch the River

Catch the River LLC was founded in 2005 by Eric & Michele Burghardt. After having problems with the psychological aspect of the Texas Hold'em, Eric asked Michele, a Certified Hypnotherapist and avid poker player, to make a hypnotherapy CD to help his tilt, loss of concentration, stamina, etc.

The results were amazing. Not only did Eric get control of his mental game, he began cashing in Texas Hold'em poker tournaments at a rate of 35 percent or more. Based on his results, Eric suggested Michele make these CD's available to the general public and Catch The River was born.

Eric & Michele Burghardt are serious Texas Hold'em tournament players. Michele is the only Certified Hypnotherapist to use her personal experience at the poker table to help other poker players master the psychological aspect of poker. Michele leaves poker strategy to the professionals. She focuses strictly on the power of the mind. Michele is certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists and the National Endurance & Sports Trainers Association. She has five years experience and 1,000's of clinical hypnotherapy sessions to her credit.

In 2006 they started their sister company, BigFish Poker Products to bring unique and high quality poker accessories to the poker community. The spotlight product at BigFish Poker Products are their River Rim Poker Sunglasses. They are the only custom designed optical quality poker sunglasses that can be fitted with a eyeglass prescription.
